Job Title: Psychiatrist MBE - Forensic Mental Health Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist to join our team at Georgia Regional Hospital Atlanta. As a psychiatrist on our forensic mental health team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical services to adult and forensic consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergent assessment and treatment to patients during off-hours

• Examine patients, diagnose conditions, and provide treatment for individuals brought into admissions

• Review referrals received from outside facilities to screen for appropriateness for admission to the facility

• Provide medical care to inpatients when needed

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

• Career interest and/or experience in public hospital psychiatry
