Job Summary:

The Plumbing Specialist will be responsible for installing, maintaining, extending, and altering all piping, fixtures, plumbing appliances, and plumbing appurtenances in connection with sanitary drainage, vent systems, and public or private water supply systems.

About the Job:
  • Install, repair, or replace various pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water systems, drainage systems, and plumbing systems according to specifications and local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Perform skilled plumbing duties on water heaters, sinks, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, water filters, grease traps, showers, water pumps, ice machines, etc.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing problems and issues; troubleshoot leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues; make necessary repairs; clear blocked drains, sinks, toilets, and urinals; perform maintenance on drinking fountains; repair leaks on faucets, drains, pumps, hot water tanks, water lines, piping, and valves.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, two years of experience in plumbing or a related field, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

A valid Georgia driver's license is also required.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $51,467 - $81,739, based on experience and qualifications. DeKalb County offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
