About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at IntelyCare. As a STNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, while also enjoying the flexibility to create your own schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Check vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse, and report any abnormal readings to the supervisor.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as toileting, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Serve meals and assist residents with feeding when needed.
  • Perform tasks to maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including changing linens and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Observe residents on an ongoing basis and alert nurses to any concerns or emergencies.
  • Communicate with family members and other visitors on behalf of residents.
  • Move residents safely and comfortably to and from exam tables, beds, and wheelchairs, and reposition them when necessary.
  • Provide companionship and engage with residents.

Requirements

  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
  • Understanding of nursing care procedures and terminology.
  • Effective organization and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
