We are seeking a skilled State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our team at IntelyCare. As a State Tested Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in post-acute facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to residents, including measuring and monitoring vital signs, reporting to your supervisor as necessary.
- Observe the conditions of residents during your shift and report any concerns to the broader nursing team.
- Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed.
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, keep residents' rooms clean, change linens, and maintain a hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, residents, and visitors.
- Assist with moving residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed.
- Offer a compassionate ear to residents and provide companionship.
- Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
- Knowledge of medical terms and basic nursing care procedures.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals and residents.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Competitive hourly pay range: $19-$36.
