Job Summary:

Westwood Ridge II is seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant/Assistant Resident to join our team. About the Role:

This is a part-time position working on our Transitional Care Unit. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, building rewarding relationships, and enhancing lives. We are looking for a team player who is sensitive to resident needs and can build positive relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on personal care to meet each resident's physical health and hygiene needs according to their individual care plan and under the direction of a nurse.
  • Build rewarding relationships with residents and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High-school diploma or equivalent.
  • MN Nursing Assistant certification.
  • Available to work every other weekend and alternating holidays.
  • Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
  • Sensitivity to resident needs and the ability to build positive relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in acute care or long-term care.
