Job Title: Director of Medical Economics and Value-Based Care

At Southeast Primary Care Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Medical Economics and Value-Based Care to join our team. This is a critical role that will play a key part in shaping our value-based care strategy and ensuring the financial and clinical success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Value-Based Care Contract Oversight: Monitor and analyze the performance of our value-based care contracts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize population health tools to develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, creating comprehensive reports to track progress and inform decision-making.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop financial and utilization targets for successful participation in value-based care contracts, contributing to long-term strategic planning for our organization's value-based care initiatives.
  • Leadership and Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and management, providing expert guidance on medical economics and value-based care, and communicating complex data and concepts in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Benchmarking: Identify and analyze national and regional benchmarks, assessing our organization's performance against these benchmarks, and identifying improvement opportunities based on benchmark comparisons.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare analytics, medical economics, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of value-based care models, population health management, and healthcare finance, excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical methods, experience with population health management software and healthcare data systems, strong communication and presentation skills, and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies in a healthcare setting.
