Site Safety Manager: Promoting a Culture of Excellence

We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager to join our team at The Middlesex Corporation. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for promoting and enforcing our corporate Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) program.
Responsibilities- Comply with and enforce all safety policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to our number one core value – Safety first in all we do.
- Assist in managing the overall corporate safety program by conducting accident/incident investigations, audits, and engagement activities.
- Perform regular field safety inspections, industrial hygiene assessments, and safety audits on active construction projects.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on all safety activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field is strongly preferred.
- 3-7 years of field safety experience in heavy civil construction, transportation, or a related field.
- Knowledge of general construction safety and health regulations, including OSHA.
- Certified Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certificate or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Office 365 productivity suite.
- A competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
