Trades Supervisor

The Department of the Navy - Agency Wide seeks a skilled Trades Supervisor to oversee combined trades teams at various work sites. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating work assignments, ensuring availability of necessary materials and tools, and controlling the work of lead shops and miscellaneous trades.

This position requires strong leadership and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse teams and prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

The Trades Supervisor will participate in long-range planning efforts, scheduling development, and training initiatives to ensure the success of the team. They will also establish and assign work requirements to subordinate supervisors, setting deadlines, priorities, and sequences to be followed.

This role is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program and may involve travel from normal duty stations to CONUS and OCONUS locations. The position may require working unusual hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.
