Preschool Educators for Early Childhood Development

People Incorporated is seeking passionate and dedicated Preschool Educators to join our Early Childhood Education Division. Our ideal candidates will be committed to providing exceptional care and educational experiences for preschool-aged children.

Compensation: $19.44 - $22.38 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute engaging lesson plans and activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in young children.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and social interactions.
  • Supervise children's activities to ensure their safety and well-being, addressing their basic needs such as feeding and rest.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of each child, providing necessary support or challenges.
  • Monitor and document children's developmental progress, communicating updates to parents and guardians through regular reports.
  • Encourage family engagement in the educational process by facilitating open communication and organizing community events.
  • Promote an inclusive atmosphere that respects and celebrates the cultural diversity of children and families.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in early childhood education.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant licensing regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and required training sessions.
  • Complete all necessary program and agency training requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education and experience that meet EEC standards; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in an early education setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to meet EEC minimum hiring standards for preschool educators.
  • Experience in an NAEYC accredited program is advantageous.
  • All candidates must pass a qualifying criminal background check.
