About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Related Affordable. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing exceptional service to our residents, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve our mission of creating thriving communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
  • Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring resident satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with our maintenance team to complete tasks and projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective communication.
  • Inspect properties to identify potential issues and take proactive steps to prevent damage or safety hazards.
  • Partner with our maintenance supervisor to develop and implement maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in affordable housing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to our residents and colleagues, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
