The Reconstruction Project Manager will oversee and manage the entire project cycle for restoration initiatives, ensuring effective direction and coordination of all field activities related to installation teams and any associated subcontractors. This role includes managing the project timeline throughout its lifecycle and securing any necessary materials, permits, or equipment required for project completion.


Key Responsibilities of the Reconstruction Manager:

  • Strategically plan and execute reconstruction projects to successful completion
  • Collaborate with Estimators to review and supervise job estimates
  • Organize and manage technicians, subcontractors, and tradespeople
  • Coordinate estimates from subcontractors effectively
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with vendors and subcontractors
  • Ensure efficient and accurate management of production paperwork
  • Order project materials and oversee their delivery to the job site
  • Monitor materials usage to remain within budget and project scope
  • Aim to exceed profitability targets on managed projects
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and all involved parties, including third-party owners, building engineers, property managers, and tenants
  • Conduct property inspections and prepare detailed reports

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the restoration or construction industry
  • IICRC or other industry-specific certifications are preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills (detail-oriented)
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and managing profitability
  • Familiarity with Xactimate software is advantageous
  • Ability to independently identify and resolve issues
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
  • Must pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record
