Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the OR Clinical Director, Chief CRNA, Nurse Manager, Office Manager, Surgical Services IS Coordinator, Nurse Practitioner, and Ortho-Trauma Clinical Coordinator.
  • Develop and manage personnel within responsible departments, ensuring compliance with general safety and infection control standards.
  • Oversee budget development, implementation, and compliance for Surgical Services.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and present operational and financial reports/projects as required, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of changes in healthcare and Surgical Services, ensuring the organization remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Health Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, goal setting, and personnel management.
  • Working knowledge of computers and computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
