Job Title: Field/Project Engineer

Southland Holdings LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field/Project Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. As a Field/Project Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating integrated project plans and schedules to ensure projects are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Assist project managers and quality control managers with engineering tasks, material take-offs, and work plans
  • Prepare baseline scheduling and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams
  • Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in developing alternate methods for corrective action
  • Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis
  • Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule
  • Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule
  • Verify schedule integrity and evaluate logic and float paths
  • Evaluate activity sequences for constructability
  • Analyze change orders for schedule impacts
  • Resource load schedules as required by the project team
  • Perform job-site walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities
Requirements:
  • Construction-related degree with 3 to 5 years of construction scheduling experience
  • Excellent computer skills and analytical ability
  • Experience working with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Understanding of industrial construction process
  • Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings
  • Knowledge of contract procedures and principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
Pay and Benefits:

$75,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
