We are seeking an exceptional Solution Architect Lead to join our team in the FIS Banking Sales Growth Office. As a key member of our enterprise solutions architecture team, you will play a critical role in helping establish leading-edge banking and digital solutions for FIS' clients across banks, credit unions, and FinTechs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for innovative problem-solving. This individual will collaborate with sales, product, and technology personnel to define solutions that support FIS' prospects and clients.

About the Position:

  • Work with senior architects to create solution architecture and design for client requirements.
  • Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design scalable, maintainable, secure, reliable, extensible, flexible, available, and manageable solutions.
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and value propositions for multiple client engagements.
  • Support client demonstrations and product deep-dives.
  • Contribute to the technical design of complex systems.
  • Participate in workshops to maximize FIS' solution value.
  • Collaborate with implementation and delivery teams to guide the design and development of solutions.
  • Create Solution Architecture documents outlining end-to-end solutions.
  • Contribute to product strategy, market requirements, and Go To Market plans with product management teams.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services systems with knowledge of retail and commercial banking.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience with object-oriented design and programming, SQL, DevOps, microservices, SOA, EAI, REST, and JSON.
  • Cloud-native and cloud-capable architecture and solutions experience.
  • Agile design and development experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
  • Extensive stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

FIS offers a competitive salary and attractive benefits package, including private medical cover, dental cover, and travel insurance. The estimated salary range for this position is $96,610 - $159,410, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries based on the posted role, level, and location.
