Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Saxon Global in Milwaukee. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing user needs, designing and developing software solutions, and participating in software design meetings.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled software engineer to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our company. You will work closely with our product managers and users to define system requirements and develop technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions using current programming languages and technologies
  • Participate in software design meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Write technical specifications and complete documentation for installation and maintenance
  • Train and communicate with internal teams on systems application
  • Maintain and improve existing software applications

Requirements

  • At least 5 or more years of work experience on HP Nonstop platform as a developer
  • Very proficient on the HP Nonstop platform
  • Knowledge of COBOL, C or C++ (at least 2 out of the 3 languages)
  • Experience with Nonstop SQL database
