The IT Project Manager will oversee and directly manage technology projects, ensuring cybersecurity is built into projects to protect our critical infrastructure and assets, reduce risk, and meet organizational goals. The successful candidate will track and communicate project status and demonstrate project value to the organization.

Requirements

*An active DOE L or Q Clearance is required

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a technical field with limited experience, or a Masters degree in a technical field and 2 to 5 years of related experience, or a Bachelors degree in a technical field and 5 to 10 years of related experience, or an Associates degree in a technical field and 10 to 15 years of related experience. The candidate must have demonstrated in-depth knowledge and skills in a technical specialty.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of operational planning processes, cybersecurity and IT security principles, requirements analysis, IT architecture models, system life cycle management, technology procurement, cloud computing, and acquisition life cycle models.

The candidate must have skills in performing capabilities and requirements analysis, administrative planning, communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, team building and leading integrated product teams, identifying critical technology procurement requirements, conducting audits, and identifying and documenting supply chain risks.

Specific Requirements

1. Direct correlation with the above requirements and experience delivering cloud enabling capabilities

2. 5-10 years of project management or similar experience, with a proven track record of overseeing technology projects

3. Knowledge of Project Management methodologies

4. Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications preferred

5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Azure Dev Ops, and Agile methodologies

Specific Deliverables

1. Actively manage multiple cybersecurity projects

2. Coordinate with department, project team, business unit managers, and the project management office to achieve product-oriented outcomes

3. Create, revise, and execute project documentation: project management plans, communication plans, test plans, risk mitigation plans, and configuration management plans
