Division Land Entitlement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Division Land Entitlement Manager to join our team at Meritage Homes. As a key member of our land acquisition team, you will be responsible for managing land planning, due diligence, and entitlement efforts for division projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage land planning and entitlement efforts for division projects
- Negotiate with government agencies to secure approval of General Plan Amendments, Zoning Changes, and other discretionary approvals
- Prepare and review preliminary site development budgets and pro-forma support
- Coordinate with division staff to ensure land plan and product design meets division requirements
- Supervise and coordinate with outside consultants, including architects, civil engineers, and landscape architects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban and/or Regional Planning, Real Estate Development, Business Administration, or Construction Management
- Five years of experience in the residential development industry, with a focus on community entitlement process
- Strong management capabilities, with experience managing people, department operations, budgets, and pro-formas
- Advanced computer skills, with expertise in Microsoft Windows Office Applications
