Key Responsibilities:
As a Nutritional Services Manager, your primary role will involve planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and staff within the dietary department. You will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of nutritionally balanced meals to residents, aimed at enhancing their overall well-being. This position requires adherence to Federal, State, and Local regulations to maintain high standards of food service and nutritional care.
Qualifications:
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with the elderly population
- A flexible, energetic, and engaging personality
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Preferred qualifications include certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR)
- Prior supervisory experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting is essential
- Food safety certification as mandated by state regulations
- Professional demeanor in both appearance and conduct
