We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Carrier Process Equipment Group, Inc. in Silver Creek, NY. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for building custom equipment using a variety of materials and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineered blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Build custom equipment using a tape measure, combination squares, and various hand tools.
  • Use GMAW (Mig Welding), GMAW-P (Pulse Mig Welding), and GTAW (Tig Welding) processes for carbon steel and stainless steel.
  • Develop fixturing and manufacturing processes to increase efficiency.
  • Improve surface finishes of stainless steel metals and welds.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in fabrication or a related field.
  • Knowledge of fabrication equipment typical to the industry, including overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Familiarity with using equipment, such as saw cutting, shearing, and drilling.
