Key Responsibilities- Prospect and develop new business opportunities with food manufacturers, farmers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Gather accurate and detailed account information to inform sales strategies and build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and marketing.
- Meet weekly sales activities, including calls, visits, proposals, and travel days, to drive business growth and revenue.
- Collaborate with the Account and Logistics Coordinator to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to drive business growth and revenue.
- Identify opportunities to increase company tonnage, gross margin, and vendor satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or management in the food industry.
- Ability to travel up to 50% overnight.
- Current and valid driver's license.
- Clean motor vehicle record.
- Experience with CRM tools preferred.
