About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development professional to join our team at Quincy Farm Products, a division of Quincy Recycle. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in expanding our reach and making a meaningful impact in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities with food manufacturers, farmers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Gather accurate and detailed account information to inform sales strategies and build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and marketing.
  • Meet weekly sales activities, including calls, visits, proposals, and travel days, to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Account and Logistics Coordinator to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Identify opportunities to increase company tonnage, gross margin, and vendor satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or management in the food industry.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% overnight.
  • Current and valid driver's license.
  • Clean motor vehicle record.
  • Experience with CRM tools preferred.
