Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at iTech Post. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for operating multiple imaging systems with efficiency, identifying patients accurately, and providing procedural support for various patient procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging systems with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain confidentiality.
  • Provide procedural support for patient procedures, including radiographic imaging.
  • Coordinate imaging services to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients, employees, and others by employing ALARA principles.
  • Participate in continuing education, meetings, and training to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Contribute to performance improvement activities and participate in quality assurance measures.
Requirements
  • Completion of a formal radiography or equivalent training program.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensure by the State of Connecticut Department of Health.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, holidays, and on-call duty as needed.
