- Assisting patients in transitioning to examination areas and ensuring they are securely positioned for imaging procedures.
- Confirming patient identities and relaying necessary information to relevant systems.
- Operating diagnostic imaging equipment to capture accurate radiographic images.
- Gathering vital patient information and reviewing medical histories for effective clinical assessment.
- Observing patient responses and promptly reporting any changes in their condition.
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures, offering care, and educating them about the process.
- Implementing safety protocols, conducting quality assurance checks, and maintaining the cleanliness of imaging equipment.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in technology and safety protocols.
- Complying with professional development and technical knowledge standards.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut State License and ARRT Certification.
- Proven understanding of human anatomy, positioning techniques, and imaging methodologies.
- Commitment to ongoing education and maintenance of professional credentials.
