Job Overview

The Vehicle Title Processing Specialist plays a crucial role in the administrative and operational support related to vehicle documentation. This includes managing tasks associated with taxes, titles, registrations, license plates, and other legal transfer documents pertinent to vehicle sales or ownership changes.

In addition to documentation, the specialist will assist in inventory management, record maintenance, reporting, and dealer trade documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in a dealership environment and familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds DMS is advantageous.
  • At least one year of relevant experience is desirable.

The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, adeptly managing multiple tasks while demonstrating strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and apply for titles and registrations with the appropriate state authorities.
  • Assist in vehicle inventory oversight and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare payments for lien settlements, referrals, and refunds.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with dealership staff.
  • Conduct timely title audits.
  • Adhere to all Federal, Local, and Company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain necessary documentation and perform various accounting tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in data entry and comfortable navigating multiple software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Well-organized with strong follow-up capabilities.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor and reliability.
  • Competent in computer and internet usage, including Microsoft Office Suite.
