Maintenance Technician I

At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of building systems and components, as well as equipment and devices used in clinical and non-clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with equipment and devices.
- Work with a concentration or specialty in a particular trade, such as carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical.
- Maintain valid driver's license and complete endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification within 1 month of hire.
- Demonstrate safe work practices and ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer's instructions.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-year experience in facility maintenance and operations preferred.

- $4.25 - Evenings
- $8.00 - Nights
- $4.75 - Weekends
