Behavior Therapist for Autism Support

At LEARN Behavioral, we are committed to delivering collaborative care and nurturing the unique potential of children with autism and special needs in communities from coast-to-coast. Our team is seeking a dedicated Behavior Therapist for Autism Support to join our dynamic group of professionals.
As a Behavior Technician at BDES, you will work closely with students with Autism in a public school setting throughout the school year and summer school program in New Bedford. This entry-level position offers a rewarding experience with opportunities to gain training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, counseling, mental health, and parenting.

Potential Salary Range: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
Benefits: Paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and opportunities for professional development.
Requirements: Meet the minimum age requirement of 18, eligibility to work in the United States, availability Monday-Friday for day-time hours, and ability to pass a background check. Bilingual candidates with English/Spanish fluency are preferred, as well as those with relevant education or experience in psychology, education, or related fields.
Job Responsibilities: Gain training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, create lasting positive change for children and their families, and engage in physical activities such as pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds, sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and running based on client needs.
