Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Nutrition Specialist to enhance our healthcare services. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of dietary science and a commitment to guiding individuals towards improved health outcomes. As a Nutrition Specialist, you will collaborate with patients and medical staff to create tailored nutrition strategies that foster health and address individual dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients to determine their nutritional requirements and health objectives.
- Develop and execute customized nutrition plans, including enteral nutrition, to aid in patient recovery and well-being.
- Educate patients and their families on nutrition best practices and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Work alongside healthcare teams to formulate and implement comprehensive treatment strategies that integrate nutritional support.
- Conduct assessments and analyze laboratory data to guide dietary recommendations.
- Track patient progress and modify nutrition plans as necessary.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in nutrition science to ensure the application of evidence-based practices.
- Efficiently manage a busy workload while prioritizing patient care needs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related discipline.
- Current certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or eligibility for certification.
- In-depth knowledge of nutritional science and dietary practices.
- Experience in patient evaluation, enteral nutrition, and nutritional counseling.
- Familiarity with diagnostic testing and the ability to interpret results for dietary guidance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities.

Pay: $34.51 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
