Dietitian I

Job Summary:

As a Dietitian I at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and education. This is a time-limited position, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs nutrient intake analysis and assesses nutritional needs of patients

Develops and implements nutritional care plans for Ryan White patients at UF CARES and within the Ryan White Jacksonville network

Assesses learning needs and readiness of patients and families; provides individualized age-appropriate nutrition information to patients and families

Participates in discharge planning or patient care/case conferences; follows-up on recommendations and care plans with the team

Documents nutrition information in the electronic medical record and maintains all records and reports

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition or food service administration, completion of an American Dietetic Association approved dietetic education program

Licenses in Dietitian in accordance with Chapter 468, Florida Statutes

Two years clinical experience in a healthcare setting and/or with HIV/AIDS population preferred
