Business Account Professional

This is a unique opportunity to grow your career as a Business Account Executive at Spectrum. You will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.
As a Business Account Executive, you will achieve sales and revenue goals through successful prospecting for new customers and the sale of bundled services to new customers. You will generate all sales leads through various prospecting tactics and work every lead from initial contact to sale.
The ideal candidate will have outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model, preferably with 3-5 years of experience. They should also have business-to-business sales experience, a proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets, and a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Job Responsibilities- Sales and Prospecting: Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Place orders through order management software and work with the Account Coordinator to ensure that all necessary administrative work is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
- Product Knowledge: Have a complete understanding of Spectrum Business coax services, rates (individual and bundled), and applicable taxes. Demonstrate selling skills and product knowledge by practicing regularly with other Account Executives.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities using Salesforce.com to maximize territory potential.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model, preferably with 3-5 years of experience.
- Business-to-business sales experience, a proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets, and knowledge of communications technologies and services.
