We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to serve as our Site Mental Health Director - Corrections. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of mental health services to inmates at our correctional facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall supervision for clinical services at the site
- Serve as the liaison for mental health matters with external mental health providers
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for mental health services
- Collaborate with the medical department to coordinate mental health care
- Oversee the referral process for psychopharmacological interventions
- Attend clinical and administrative meetings as scheduled
- Provide direct mental health services as needed
- Oversee mental health discharge planning for inmates
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited graduate program
- Licensure as a Psychologist or Psychiatrist in the state where services will be provided
