About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced IT Associate to join our Sacramento office team. As an IT Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including setup, maintenance, and security. This position requires travel to multiple sites, approximately 50% of the time, to attend to various IT needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hardware and Software Management: Install, maintain, and configure hardware and software systems according to company policies and industry best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair network, hardware, and software components to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Maintenance and Inspection: Perform routine maintenance and inspection of desktops, phones, network, and server systems to identify potential issues before they occur.
  • Testing and Verification: Test network and server systems to verify functionality and performance, and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimum results.
  • Upgrade and Optimization: Perform hardware and software upgrades to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Conduct root cause analysis of complex problems and collaborate with level 2 or expert engineers to develop corrective actions.
  • IT Infrastructure and Help Desk Support: Maintain IT infrastructure and manage help desk issues as assigned, providing timely and effective solutions to employees.
  • Software Updates and Security: Regularly update software antivirus to protect against malware and other cyber threats.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support to servers, networks, telephones, and other computing platforms, and offer training to colleagues on new technologies and procedures.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management: Order and stock equipment and supplies when necessary, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Professional Development: Possess cloud infrastructure knowledge and remain up-to-date with industry developments to provide innovative solutions to our clients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Two to three years of experience as an IT Associate or relevant experience.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification: CompTIA A+ certification highly preferred.
  • EHR/EMR Experience: Experience working with EHR/EMR systems highly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, management, and clients.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to and from our different offices and clinics, with occasional travel to SoCal required.
  • Citizenship: Authorized to work in the US and able to work in Sacramento, CA.
  • Language Skills: Spanish bilingualism is preferred.
