Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Business Analyst Intern to join our team at the Major League Baseball Players Association. As a Finance Business Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, financial planning, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial operating documents and policies.
  • Identify and document finance processes and tasks that require formal write-ups.
  • Codify finance processes and policies for distribution to stakeholders.
  • Assist in other projects as requested by the CFO and Assistant Controller.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Knowledge of process flow diagram building, data visualization, and detail orientation.
  • Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration major or recent college graduate with a related degree.

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am to 5 pm in our New York City office, with the remainder of the week worked remotely.

Reporting and Compensation:

Reports to the CFO and Assistant Controller. Compensation is $20.00 per hour.
