Project Finance and Infrastructure Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Project Finance and Infrastructure Ratings team at KBRA. This dynamic and high-energy professional will support all aspects of the credit ratings process, including the development of rating and analytical tools, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and research for internal and external publications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of rating and analytical tools, such as cash flow models, to evaluate project finance debt structures.
  • Support quantitative and qualitative analysis for credit memos and publications.
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases.
  • Assist in research for internal and external publications.
  • Monitor and update credit factors on Power, Energy, and Renewable Finance companies/projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Math-related fields or any subject that requires strong analytical skills.
  • 1-3 years of work experience as a credit analyst with experience in project finance, structured finance, or fixed income investing a significant plus.
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a highly collaborative team and across disciplines in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage time and resources in a fast-growing company.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Effective verbal communications skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, ability to construct and modify cash flow models is a significant plus.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Successful progression towards CFA a plus.
