Responsibilities:- Provide support to the team, including analyzing financial statements, rent rolls, and financial models to identify lending opportunities and risks.
- Assist in completing research on real estate markets throughout the U.S. and interpreting data to inform business decisions.
- Start financial models for the full-time team of Loan Production Analysts, Production Manager, and Loan Originators.
- Conduct research and create clear reports of results for Managing Director, Head of Loan Originators, and/or Production Manager.
- Must be a junior or senior currently in an accredited undergraduate business degree program, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and solid proficiency with other Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Previous job experience working in an office setting, with real estate background and internship experience a plus.
- Ability to work 20 hours during the school year and potentially continue into the summer for 5 days and 40 hours per week.
- A passionate, can-do attitude, highly motivated, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with ability to report status of projects succinctly with suggested next steps.
- Meets deadlines by working independently and with a team, taking ownership of and accountability for effectively prioritizing and completing multiple projects/tasks on time.
