Senior Analyst, Fund Finance - Private Wealth

Pantheon Ventures, a leading global investment firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Fund Finance to join its Private Wealth team in New York. As a key member of the team, you will play a central role in supporting the investment platform and ensuring the smooth operation of fund finance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Private Wealth Operations team to provide financial and operational support, ensuring business objectives are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers.
  • Provide financial and operational support for the set-up of new structures or funds, working closely with the structuring team, internal counsel, external advisors, and Private Wealth Operations team.
  • Review and approve fund expenses, ensuring they are reasonable and understood.
  • Assist in the delivery of funds' reporting and regulatory reporting, as required.
  • Oversight of third-party fund administration providers, depositaries, and other service providers, in conjunction with the Third-Party Administration Management team.
  • Support the Private Wealth Investor Relations teams, as required.
  • Provide transaction support for acquisitions and creation of new entities, ensuring transaction closings are achieved as planned.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
  • CPA License or equivalent, with strong accounting skills.
  • Broad knowledge of Private Equity, semi-liquid products, and the processes involved in servicing these funds.
  • Customer-focused, with a passion for quality and efficiency.
  • Experience in designing, monitoring, and understanding internal controls frameworks in place at each stage of a fund/product life cycle.
  • Ability to lay out processes, controls, and procedures in simple, clear formats, including data flows and controls matrices.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage own workload.
  • Experience in process change and improvement projects.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Proficient Excel skills.
  • Comfortable acting proactively and with integrity.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to develop meaningful partnerships with internal and external teams.
