Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist II PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technologist II PRN, you will play a critical role in assisting in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including emergency procedures associated with catheterization, such as IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
  • Perform vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist.
  • Collect accurate data and participate in the patient's care in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
Requirements
  • High school or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS Certification and/or ARRT IR.
  • Two years of experience in a licensed field and one year of cardiac cath lab experience.
  • LPN with one year of experience and Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
