Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographic Technologist to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform and process M-Mode, Two-dimensional, Color Flow, and Doppler Echocardiograms, as well as assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms.
- Maintain, compile, calculate, and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving.
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members regarding findings, patient histories, and test results.
- Collaborate with colleagues and members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Adult Echocardiography preferred.
- AA, AS Degree or proof of equivalent college hours in health science, natural science, nursing, or any other program with primary science content, or Cardiovascular Program.
- Current Ultrasound registry required, including Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT).
- Registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS).
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support provider approved by American Heart Association.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
