Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Echo Technologist PRN to join our team and help us reach our goals. As an Echo Tech, you will provide echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and technologies.
Requirements
- AA, AS Degree or proof of equivalent college hours in health science, natural science, nursing, or any other program with primary science content, or Cardiovascular Program.
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT).
- Registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS).
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
