Quality Assurance Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Associate to join our team at Bob Barker Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the quality requirements of our diversified supply chain and assisting the Safety Manager with maintaining our company safety program.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Quality Audits: Conduct product, process, and safety audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Auditor: Collaborate with the Quality Auditor to verify and inspect inbound items as needed.
- Provide Quality Oversight: Provide quality oversight of vinyl production by performing spot audits on incoming materials and sample testing of finished goods.
- Address Customer Quality Concerns: Address customer quality concerns related to the North Carolina facility and work with internal customers to resolve product quality issues.
- Perform Quality and Safety Tasks: Demonstrate skills and experience necessary to perform quality and safety tasks independently without supervision.
- Act as Safety Associate: Act as a safety associate under the supervision of the Safety Manager, conducting inspections, training, and assisting in ensuring OSHA compliance.
- Manage CTPAT Compliance: Assist in managing and further developing CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) compliance.
- Support Sample Orders: Support the processing of sample orders when necessary.
- Improve Quality Experience: Sustain the highest quality experience for the customer while improving the overall cost of quality for the Bob Barker Company.
- Communicate Quality Initiatives: Communicate the state of quality to motivate the organization to support quality initiatives such as incident reporting and reduction.
- Assist with Supplier Qualification: Assist with the evaluation and qualification of supplier products and processes, and the development and maintenance of a Supplier Qualification Program.
- Learn Production and Quality Standards: Ability to learn Bob Barker Company's production and quality standards.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical and Critical Thinking: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Detail-oriented.
- ISO and LEAN Manufacturing: Familiarity with ISO and LEAN Manufacturing.
- Textile Experience: Textile experience preferred: understanding of thread count, wash testing, and fabric weight.
- High School Diploma: High School Diploma required.
- Related Work Experience: At least two years of related work experience, preferably in quality inspection and auditing.
