Pape' Kenworth is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Technician to join our team in Sacramento, CA. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy-duty trucks, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet customer deadlines and maximize uptime.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and certifications to maintain expertise and stay current with industry developments.
- 2 or more years of experience repairing heavy-duty trucks, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of Cummins and MX software, as well as computer literacy.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record, and CDL preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive hourly rate, $32-40/hour, depending on experience.
