Pape Trucks Inc is seeking a skilled Journeyman Truck Technician to join our team in Sacramento, CA.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Journeyman Truck Technician to work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks in our shop. As a Journeyman Truck Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely repairs, supporting our customers, and maximizing their uptime.
Responsibilities- Work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks, including electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
- Use basic computer knowledge to diagnose and repair complex issues.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Hold a Class B CDL or be able to obtain one.
- Provide own tools.
- 5 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Self-motivation and assertiveness.
- Ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one.
- Must provide own tools.
