Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed menu
  • Ensure food is prepared and served in an appetizing and sanitary manner
  • Manage food inventory and ordering to minimize waste
  • Coordinate with supervisor to plan menus and ensure nutritional adequacy
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, food handling, and storage standards
  • Interact with clients, peers, and leadership in a professional manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 6 months prior institutional cooking experience
  • Current Oregon Food Handler permit
  • CPR training and certification
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
