Medical Account Manager

Foundation Risk Partners, a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm, is seeking a skilled Hybrid Commercial Lines Account Executive to join their Genatt V team in New York.
Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients is a key responsibility of this role, achieved through proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
Collaborating with the team, this individual will consistently deliver high-quality customer service and ensure service standards are met.
The role is responsible for managing risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and following policies and procedures.
Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, this individual will drive a positive customer experience.
Operating within the agency's risk appetite, this role will achieve results by identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
Responsible for the overall management and retention of an assigned book of business, this individual will help drive improvement by deepening relationships.
Developing proactive, reciprocal calling and referral relationships with client relationship managers and sales officers, this role will create planning strategies and opportunities.
Dealing with enrollment process management, benchmarking, RFP process, and marketing of clients' coverage, this individual will also coordinate onboarding for new customers.
Collaborating with the producer and marketing department, this role will gather data for quotes and prepare quote request submissions, as well as complete applications for new business submissions.
Service Responsibilities:
Handling all client service requests according to agency standards, this individual will also utilize the support of a Technical Assistant if necessary.
Processing incoming policies, ensuring accuracy of paper and electronic files, and transmitting policies to clients, this role will also make sure accounts are renewed in advance of expiration.
Handling incoming phone calls from clients and responding to requests in a timely manner, this individual will provide Accounting Department with assistance in collecting accounts receivable.
Documentation of phone calls and attachments/activities will be added to client files in AMS, including phone calls and other service-related activities.
Reviewing accounts for opportunities to 'round out' and/or provide additional coverages, this role will also require a Bachelor's degree and appropriate state resident insurance licenses for Property and Casualty Insurance.
With 1-3 years of sales experience, highly developed sales and presentation skills, and proven experience in building strong internal and external client relationships, this individual will also have a working knowledge and use of all Microsoft Office applications.
Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to performance, location, and experience.
