Job Summary:

The Restaurant Service Associate is a key member of our team at Platinum Companies, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests from start to finish. As a Restaurant Service Associate, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Take food and beverage orders, prepare and serve meals and drinks to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and small appliances, including dishwashing machines and sanitizing stations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of guest payments and transactions.
  • Assist with inventory management, tracking and maintaining accurate records of food and beverage supplies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in food and beverage service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Food service permit or valid health/food handler card(s) and an alcohol awareness certification/ServSafe permit may be required.
  • Professional appearance and grooming must be adhered to at all times.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
  • Possess technical knowledge and aptitude, with experience in food and beverage service preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, move, and perform physical tasks as required.
