As a Robotics Field Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our Field Robotics Engineer initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and test aerial robots and robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware robotic system integration and deployment issues.
- Travel to customer sites to provide field support and ensure seamless product delivery.
- Aid the developer team in delivering prototypes and products in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to drive innovation and excellence.
- B.S. degree in robotics, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other engineering disciplines.
- 2-4 years of working experience in robotic system operations or field tests in aviation, robotics, or automotive.
- Experience with robotic system integrations and analyzing system logs.
- Experience using Ubuntu/Windows systems.
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (python, C, ROS, bash).
- Being detail-oriented and managing multiple tasks.
- Proficient in safety protocols for aerial robots.
- Self-motivated person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience with building and repairing aerial robots and robotic systems.
- Experience with installing and running applications on Windows and Linux.
- Experience at a fast-growing startup.
