Dock Worker

US Logistics Solutions is on the lookout for dedicated and career-focused individuals to join our dynamic shipping and dock operations team. As a vital part of our warehouse team, dock workers play a crucial role in the efficient loading and unloading of freight from our transport vehicles. This position requires frequent physical activity, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying freight. Comprehensive training and all necessary resources will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload freight from straight trucks and/or 53 ft. commercial trailers
  • Utilize handheld scanners to effectively track and manage freight within our distribution system
  • Label boxes accurately and prepare freight for dispatch
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of trailers
  • Check documentation and assess the condition of freight to meet quality standards
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds regularly
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Perform additional duties as required

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A collaborative team player who excels in a fast-paced setting
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as necessary
  • Basic knowledge of freight handling is advantageous
