Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of occupational therapy programs for patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment plans under the supervision of occupational therapists, including exercises, activities, and interventions to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans, assessments, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or a related field preferred.
  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association-approved curriculum.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
