Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our occupational therapy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and administration of occupational therapy programs to meet the needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Implement and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association-approved curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
