Job Description

AvantGarde, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Developer to join our team. As a key member of our SharePoint/Java team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SharePoint document management applications for Case Management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint development, with a minimum of 12 years of experience delivering SharePoint solutions to customers. You will be responsible for assisting with the migration of web applications from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online, creating policies for the use of Power Apps and Power Automate, and designing site templates in SharePoint Online.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with and provide support for the migration of web applications from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online
  • Assist with creating policies for the use of Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Participate in establishing policies and procedures for migrating SharePoint 2019 on premises site collections to SharePoint Online
  • Design site templates in SharePoint Online
  • Advise and assist site collection owners in implementing the templates
  • Prepare user stories for new development
  • Provide technical input to the project Design Document
  • Interface with project managers and provide appropriate update status

Requirements:

  • A BS, MS, or PhD degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience delivering SharePoint solutions to customers
  • Significant experience implementing and maintaining site collections and web applications in SharePoint 2019
  • Experience implementing applications using Power Apps and Power Automate in SharePoint Online
  • Ability to travel to client site in Washington, DC
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and the creation of user stories
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • SharePoint certification preferred
