Medical Director

Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Physician Center Medical Director to join our team in Columbus, OH. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and driving clinical excellence in our centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and mentorship to clinicians, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and exceptional patient experience.
- Collaborate with the Director of Medical Operations to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement, workflow optimization, and center performance enhancement.
- Mentor and train future clinical leaders, as well as newly hired and tenured clinicians, to foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Director of Therapy Operations to ensure seamless integration of clinical and therapy services, promoting a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical improvement initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to drive business and strategic plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, and local communities to drive market growth and expand Concentra's reach.
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine from ABMS or AOA.
- Current unrestricted medical license in the state of Ohio, as required for clinical and business duties.
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
- Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- DOT FMCSA certification.
- Two years' directly applicable experience, including relevant clinical and supervisory experience for clinical scope.
- Two years' experience in managed care and physician management.
- Experience developing and leading medical management and quality improvement programs, preferably in a managed care setting.
