About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Concentra. As a Medical Director, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and leading our clinical team to deliver best-in-class services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical coverage, treat patients, and mentor clinicians to ensure exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Quality Improvement: Collaborate with the Director of Medical Operations to identify opportunities to improve clinical quality, workflows, safety, and patient satisfaction metrics.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and train future clinical leaders, as well as newly hired and tenured clinicians, to foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Market Growth: Maintain and leverage relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, and local communities to drive market growth and respond to requests and issues within 24 hours.
  • Operational Support: Assist the Director of Medical Operations and Executive Assistant in managing staffing in centers and adjusting for unforeseen coverage needs.
Requirements
  • Clinical Expertise: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine, with a current unrestricted medical license in the state of Ohio.
  • Leadership Experience: Two years' directly applicable experience, including relevant clinical and supervisory experience, with a preference for experience in managed care and physician management.
  • Skills and Competencies: Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative, and Flexibility, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
